Today, BBC hosted an invitation match against RCBBA to celebrate our new green. Just prior to the game starting, RCBBA President Jim Wood (Thatcham) officially opened the green by unveiling a commemorative plaque.

The game was played in a friendly, yet competitive manner, with Burghfield coming out eventual winners beating a strong County team 130 -104.

At an after match dinner, inside BCSA, formalities ensued and a nice meal was enjoyed by all.  President Val Woodbridge presented a cheque to Jim Wood’s nominated charity, MENCAP.
